The happy couple Kit and Gemma

Good luck to Kit and Gemma and may they have many happy years together from Ocean Adventures! And thanks for the email below.

Hi Giles,
Both Gemma and I would just like to say a massive thank you for the weekend. We had a brilliant time and really enjoyed meeting you and the other guys, getting involved with the sailing, as well as our big night on Saturday! Thank you so much for looking after us and for the champagne, it was such fun. It is a weekend that we'll never forget - it's not every day you come away with a new desire to sail, a light sunburn and a fianc. Some of the other on board weekend April 26/27

Found a stowaway onboard as we sailed around the Island, we feed him or her some bread and after a couple of hours was gone, just hope they flew rather than fell!

Weekend 21/21 March 09

Another great weekend 3 girls and 2 guys, amazing weather. After the Ocean Adventures cooked breakfast we left Hythe. Meet a friend on a power boat and he took the 3 girls and gave them a high speed spin. Sailed to Portsmouth past the Spinnaker Tower and the Portsmouth Dockyard. Back to Cowes where we stayed the night. Sunday a gentle sail to the Needles and back to Hythe.

The three girls on Mike's Sealine, the boat to be used for our power and sail trips

Weekend 14/15 February.

A couple of the regulars above enjoyed it so much and bought there own boat a week later! But they said they will come to France with us later in the year.

Woke up to find this Saturday morning 14 Feb.

Hurst Castle, just one of the sights to be seen.

Weekend 7/8 February

Another great group of people, can't decide if the sailing is the best bit or social side! Start the day with a cooked breakfast and finish up the pub, nice meal and a glass or three of wine.

With all the snow, woke up to this Saturday morning 7 Feb sunny and a slight frost on the decks

Our first weekend of 2009 February, one crew short as the snow would not let get out his driveway! The five others got here from Swindon, London and Newcastle. Sail down to the needles and a good night in Cowes. Sunday a good day sailing and back home to Hythe.

And don't forget, if you've got anything to add - whether it is feedback, suggestions, anecdotes from your trip or perhaps some photos you're particularly proud of then drop us a line at [email protected]

Another whole boat day charter on the 8 May, blew a gale! Sarah on the helm on the yacht for the first time sailed back sail back in a gale from lunch at Cowes! Did not want to steer at first, had a job to take the wheel of her later!

A day sail on the 1st bank holiday Monday

Monday/Tuesday 27/28 April had two brothers (twins) that bought there Father a 2 day trip. Mark, James and Robert the Father, don't ask me which one is which, but a great family! We sail to Yarmouth on the Monday, Tuesday we sail round the Isle of Wight and back to Hythe. Thanks for the email below, always nice to get feedback.

Hi Giles
Just a note to say a big thank you for making our 2 days of sailing such a great experience.  As you know the trip was booked to celebrate our Dad's 60th Birthday, and he (along with James and I) loved every minute at sea and would of gladly stayed out on the boat longer!  We really did not want the 2 days to come to an end.
Thanks for creating such a friendly and chilled-out atmosphere on board and for booking the weather!  What a mix we had............. strong wind with rain one day, calm, sunny and relaxed the next - I think we had it all offering some great sailing.
As we said on the way back in, we would love to follow-up this trip with another one (the France idea is a good one) and we will certainly be back in touch soon.
In the meantime, thanks once again for a fantastic break away.
Mark, James & Robert

Leaving Yarmouth first thing Monday before sailing round the IOW. Always a nice sail round the back of the Island!

Also hope Diane had a great birthday with us on the 26 April and thank her daughter for buying the birthday gift weekend for her Mother

Weekend 19/20 April, Saturday we sail to Chichester Harbour almost to Chichester, back to Sparks Marina on Hayling Island where we stopped for the night. Sunday we set sail at 8.00 am and had breakfast on the way and sailed round the Isle of Wight. Weekend we clocked up about a hundred miles.

Sailed close to the Needles this time!

Weekend 14/15 March just perfect sailing!

Saturday great sail all the way to the Needles and back to Cowes for the night. Sunday the perfect sunny day, but a lack of wind, went to Portsmouth, up the river Hamble and back home to Hythe.

Weekend 7/8 March

Another great day sailing west down the Solent, stopped at Cowes for the night. Sunday started lightish winds, but a few dark clouds and checked the wind at the local met office and had gust over 50 knots! Nothing like a Gale to put smile on peoples faces!

28 Feb/1 March

I missed this trip, just watched them come back through the lock back in to Hythe Marina. James was skipper, but had an email from one of the girls onboard.

"Just to say a big thank you to you and James for a fabulous birthday weekend,

Regards, Laura"
