Where
we sail
Ocean Adventures is based at
Hythe Marina, near Southampton. The sheltered waters of the
Solent, one of the most popular British sailing areas, are on
our door step, providing the perfect environment for both novice
and experienced sailors.
Often see the cruise ships
docked just across the water from Hythe marina before they set
sail. .
Specific itineraries are
dependent on conditions such as tide and weather but there are
many picturesque locations along the South coast and beyond to
choose from. To the west we often explore the beautiful Beaulieu
River or continue to the bustling town of Lymington, close to
the New Forest. Heading east takes us to the historic Portsmouth
and Chichester harbours. One of our most popular destinations is
of course Cowes, on the Isle of Wight, considered by many to be
the home of world yacht racing.
Cowes, yachting centre of the
UK, often stop overnight
