Yacht Charter
Ideal for families, groups of
friends or work colleagues.
Enjoy the experience of having our luxury 42ft yacht to yourself
(apart from our friendly, helpful skipper of course).
We offer one day, two day (weekday or weekend) and five day sails
and will always tailor the itinerary to meet your needs, tidal and
weather conditions permitting.
Breakfast, snacks and lunch are normally provided on board and we
always consider specific dietary requirements.
Quintessence is safety coded for up to 10 people and is fully
equipped will all safety equipment, including infant life jackets.
Or why not book two days or more
and have a sailing holiday. Stay at Cowes overnight or a place of
you choice. Ideal for families!
Schedule for the Day
As
your group will have exclusive use of the boat for the day, the
itinerary is almost entirely at your discretion and we will contact you nearer the
time to discuss this with you.
These notes are just a guide to a typical day..
Arrive
at Universal Marina at about 9.30 (by arrangement it may be possible
to sleep on board the yacht the evening before your charter) following
a comprehensive safety briefing we then head out on to Southampton
Water. Once all on board are familiar with the yacht’s controls
we raise our sails spending the day sailing the
Solent
. There is ample time
for everyone to practice a range of crewing responsibilities,
including helming. Our
specific itinerary is dependent on prevailing weather conditions
and tides however we regularly moor up in
Cowes
on the
Isle of Wight
for lunch. And after
lunch we will make our return back to Unversal Marina by
approximately 4.30pm.
Lunch,
snacks and hot and cold drinks whilst on board are all included in
the cost of the trip.

on the website and other dates on our other Yachts are often

A day to
remember.
We sail every
weekend, weather permitting and on some weekdays, offering you
maximum flexibility. Early booking is recommended as our great
value prices mean that days are booked up quickly.
