Quintessence

Our Solent sailing takes place on Quintessence. Quintessence is a Bavaria 42 Lagoon, built to carry her crew in the utmost safety and comfort to any destination in the world and offers a luxurious standard of accommodation with hot and cold water and warm air central heating. Quintessence has an exceptionally spacious and practical interior layout with four double sleeping cabins and two head compartments. Navigation facilities include full electronic instrumentation with GPS Radar and Navtex. She is safety coded by the MCA for 10 althougth we never take more than 6 people sailing. Quintessence is an original Bavaria 42 'Lagoon' which are very different from the current relatively lightweight Bavaria 42 range. Designed by Axel Mohnaupt and built to a very high standard in Germany she is a heavy powerful offshore cruiser.
